I'm not a professional composer. However, it does not mean that I'm not serious about my music, or that I produce amateur records. Yes, I support my musical creativity designing state-of-the-art optical devices (think of lasers, fiber optics, medical imaging, etc...), but the music always was of equal or even higher importance for me.

Working on my music I have the true luxury of freedom to do what I want and consider important. I composed an organ prelude because I'm amazed by the sonic power of this instrument, I have written an Adagio for strings because I'm in love with the beauty of violin's almost human voice... I think that today's musical world is getting too deep into marketing technologies. While there is nothing wrong with this approach, and I do the same in the office, I treat my music different.
